iTunes 8.2
Our tools are now compatible, indeed they require iTunes 8.2, so its fine to update to this version now.

hello again, I want to unlock my iphone 2.2.1 first by upgrading to 3.0 but I just realized that my itunes is 8.2
will there be a problem?

My iPhone is unlocked and my mac running iTunes 8.2 no probs but when I upgrade to 3.0 will it still be ok as I read I needed to downgrade to 8.1 but the instructions have been removed from the website.
Yeah that’s fine – the instructions were removed because the software coming tomorrow will work fine with iTunes 8.2

I just went ahead and upgraded my unlocked iPhone and have had no problems, save it now asks me to enter my password if my iPhone is in sleep mode when I connect. Everything is working normally.
