iPhone – not 3G version 2.1 O2 SIM and activated.
Tried 4 other sofware vendors and had limited success, will not unlock!!
recognised vodaphone SIM, but asked to be connected to iTunes(8) with different SIM found message on phone, of course iTunes wont recognise device with message the SIM is not correct.
This was meant to be a phone bought unlocked!!
Will this software unlock an activated phone fully?

Yes it will Lorraine – and why would go anywhere else other than here?

Hi – upgraded to your latest with no problems – very easy when you follow the instructions explicitly. iTunes has just released 7.7.1 – are we all okay to upgrade when these happen or do we need to wait for you to check upgrades first?

Jody, The upgrade to version 2.0 has created a problem with the bluetooth connection to my Mercedes HFP bluetooth module. The iPhone will connect to the car system but the phone book will not load into the COMAND system on the Merc. On version 1.1.4 this worked perfectly. This is an Apple problem and has been reported extensively on the bulletin boards. It appears to affect all phones on version 2.0, locked or unlocked, 2G or 3G. ( my iPhone was upgraded with your software, my wife’s iPhone was upgraded through iTunes as she has a contract) Is there a way for both of us to revert back to 1.1.4 until Apple sort this out?

Hi…. I have upgraded to 2.0. iTunes is telling me that there is an update for my carrier settings (t-mobile). Will I be locked out if I install this update?

    thanks

The upgrade was a little tricky as I did not focus on the DFU powering off, fortunately Jody was there to help me remotely… he has long arms as I am in melbourne, anyway his patience prevailed and it was really very simple.. great work thanks Jody !

Mac instructions are much simpler now :-)

PC instructions, as before, are easy also!

Had serious problems upgrading to firmware 2.0 (this was no fault of iphoneunlockUK). I simplest way was to let the professional do it. Phone posted one day, repaired and back in post the following day. There are plenty of companies and individuals willing to provide this service, but are they as good as iphoneunlockUK. Would highly recommend.
