iTunes 9 and Firmware 3.1 now available
Apple has just released firmware 3.1 and iTunes 9.
It is safe to upgrade to iTunes 9.0 but please do not accept the update to iPhone OS 3.1 within iTunes.
As always our software remaines compatible but do not use iTunes to update. Log into your acount for full instructions on how to update your unlocked iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS to 3.1.
If you are a new customer and wish to unlock your iPhone, please try and ensure you don’t upgrade to 3.1 before unlocking as the tools aren’t yet ready to unlock 3g and 3gs at 3.1 (anyone who says otherwise is a scam and trying to rob you of your hard earned money!)
if you have already updated to 3.1 (or have bought an iPhone already on 3.1) we can still help, you will just need to use a new version of our unlocking software which will be out shortly.

Hi Jody and Team,
You are a fab bunch. My son wanted me to download games from the App store and so i went ahead a locked my iPhone by downloading the latest OS 3.1.
Your unlock kit, ably supported by your tech support team on telephone helped my unlock my favourite piece of Gadget. I didnot stand in vain in queue for long hours for this iPhone when it was launched in 2007 and I donot plan to retire it any day soon.

I downgraded the software to 3.0 and re unlocked after downloading itunes 8.2 on another computer. all went well.
using itunes 9 on 1st gen phone.

Hi Jody,
All I can say is oops! My daughters 2G iPhone is unlocked via your software, however she inadvertently followed the iTunes update before I could get to it.
Is there a way of going back to V3.0 on her copy of iTunes so that I can unlock the phone again?

I got my 3.01 and 3.1 mixed up and accidently updated my 1st Generation Iphone to 3.1 and Itunes 9 (I was reinstalling itunes on my computer) Is there any hope to unlock my phone please.
