Full 3.1.3 unlock now available
Apple in February released firmware 3.1.3, which offered no new features but which did close the method through which the previous unlock was injected. Our next software unlock won’t be coming out until version 4.0. The reason? If we ’showed our hand’ to Apple and revealed to them the exploit we will be using then they will simply close it. So an unlock at version 3.1.3 means a long wait for an unlock at version 4. We figured version 4 will be such a big important update (multitasking for 3rd party apps etc) that our customers would rather have immediate access to that, hence the decision was made.
However, many of our NEW customers who didn’t know not to update their unlocked iPhones had already upgraded their iPhones unwittingly and locked themselves out. And new iPhones are already coming out at version 3.1.3. As a result we have had to find a new method. Just like at version 3.1.2 when we offered a reward for a baseband unlock (which wasn’t taken but the challenge was still met), we have risen to the occasion and present our latest and greatest ever -

The ‘Early Bird Unlock’!
We are pleased to announce our new revolutionary unlock for ALL First Gen, 3G and 3GS iPhones running 3.1.3, regardless of bootloader, baseband, etc. The ONLY unlock that allows you to turn your iPhone off and on at will (no more ‘tethered’ jailbreaks!), allows you to use Push Notifications flawlessly, and safely update within iTunes in the future without fear of re-locking.
Please note due to revenue sharing with airtime providers there will be a nominal additional charge for this which will vary depending on operator. Full details are in your account.
On top of the game, as ever

I have a UK iphone 3GS 32GB was locked on 02 but I purchased your unlock around January 2010 time, running version 3.1.2 (7D11) firmware 05.11.07 and it has been fantastic as I travel around the world and use various sims from several international and local providers. But now I want to upgrade to 3.1.3 and latest firmwire 05.12.01 but I am getting a little confused over instructions on the site Should I used ealry bird, wait until version 4.0 or download the 3.1.2 unlock on the site currently.. Thanks Jav
hi jav 3.1.3 offers no new features so I’d stick with 3.1.2 – however if your apps require it then do the early bird unlock. Is it enabled within your account?

Hi
Does this mean if I have an iPhone 3Gs which is locked to 02 on version 3.1.3 firmware 05.12.01 you can unlock it to Vodafone, Orange etc etc just with software? Also can you do this within minitues? i.e. you dont have to wait days/months?
Hi Neil – yes that’s exactly right!

Hi,
Just come across your site on an internet search and it looks very professional.
I’m about to buy an iPhone 3GS 16gb running 3.1.3 which is locked to o2.
If I buy it how easy is it to unlock to run on 3 and apart from the phone and usual bits is there anything else I need from the seller for you to unlock it.
Thanks.
Jim
Hi Jim – its really straightforward. You could do with finding out whether its PAYG or Contract initially, and based on their response there are some other bits of information you’ll need also.

hi,
I’m new on this website,
I bought an iPhone 3GS/32 from a UK citizen.
When I received the iPhone it was sim locked, I think to O2,I’m not sure. The software is 3.1.3 (updated by iTunes!).
Till now it was NOT possible to unlock the iPhone.
Your website give me new hope?
Can you unlock the iPhone,do you need more information?
Hope on a positive answer,
Greetings
Luk
I forgot I’m en Belgian Citizen.
Hi Luke, I presume you are in Belgium now? We CAN unlock this device but you will need to be in the UK to get the procedure done. Is this a possibility?

recently recieved my iphone back from you following problematic and lengthy unlock procedure due to it having been on a business tarif, although phone contact was difficult, the support recieved and updates on progress via email were faultless and extremely prompt.
i was a bit concerned as to what the final bill might be as it took approx 4 weeks to sort through all the problems with the unlock. there fore i was frankly amazed at the standard £35 fee for such a complex job.
needless to say the device is now working fine and with the latest software installed.thank you for a truly outstanding service, iphoneUnlockUK is a company i would recommend without hesitation.
Thanks Peter! Very kind.

Hi guys!
I’d like to know how to jailbreak after an Early Bird Unlock? Is it possible?
Anyway you guys are absolutley fantastic.
Thanks.
Hi Zsolt (unusual name!), as you know our unlock now works without requiring a jailbreak or any kind of hack as it’s a factory unlock.
Of course you can still jailbreak if you like, indeed you have to to install our apps pack.
Hope that helps.

silly question….but how do you find out what firmware you have etc?
Hi Richard – not such a silly question! If you can see the icons on your iPhone, simply go to Settings >> General >> About. If you can’t see the icons, then simply get our unlock solution. If the software works, it means you are on 3.1.2 or earlier, if it doesn’t, then simply use our Early Bird Unlock. Simples!

Good Afternoon. I was looking into purchasing your product but I have a few questions.
1. I have jail broken my phone before and there was always a problem with turning the phone off and having to re-jailbreak with your product will I find the same problem?
Our unlocks are done without jailbreak, so this isn’t a problem! You can turn your iPhone off and on at will (unlike competitors).
2. i upgraded my fireware from 3.1.2 baseband 5.11.07to 3.1.3 and 5.12.01 I have tried to reset i phone but its still showing the firware 3.1.3 can I either downgrade my phone or reset back to my original settings?
Unfortunately its not possible to downgrade your iPhone baseband firmware. But that’s not a problem anyway, as we can unlock that baseband fine.
