Firmware 3.1.2 now available
AS ALWAYS you must not upgrade to firmware 3.1.2 using iTunes. You will lose your unlock.
Please login to your account and follow the instructions and upgrade using our custom firmware.
If you are already on 3.1.2 and have a first generation iPhone, login to your account and follow the instructions.
For those on 3G/3GS running 3.1.2, you can login and run Stage 1 of the unlock which will allow you to install the 1 click unlock application when it’s released.

hi, I am thinking about buying this software, but I have a few questions first.
I have a Iphone 3G 16Gb and I payed someone to unlock for me and I use it with T-mobile. But I want to update because my version is 3.0 and I don’t want to pay everytime that I want to update. I am not a big computer person. The guy that unlocked it said that I can’t turn my 3G network on or is going to lock the phone. I pay for unlimited data but I can’t use 3G, just Edge and wifi at home and that is anoying. So, with this software can I turn my 3G network on? And with this software can I choose to uptade to 3.1.2 or 3.1.3? Thanks.
hi – oh dear that doesn’t sound like a very good unlock! With ours you can easily unlock to the latest version, and also turn on 3G! And of course you always get the latest updates, free of charge.

HI,
I’m considering buying my first iPhone in the US, which you can no longer do without also buying the contract with AT&T. Can you unlock the phone once it has been activated by AT&T?
Thanks

i am interested in buying this software to unlock my 3G iphone to use in 3 network.
just wanted to know can i still use all the services that 3 network offers in my contract or on pay as you go, for example skype and msn??
Absolutely you can use Skype and MSN. In fact, if you get our App Pack, this will allow you to use Skype over 3G and 2G networks (normally the iPhone is restricted to using Skype over Wifi) and allows allows you to run Skype in the background – so you can ALWAYS be online.

hi there, there have been some well publicised “worms” which appear to only affect jailbroken iPhones. I have purchased an iPHone which I want to get unlocked to use with a BT/Vodafone SIM but am now very worried about the threat of these viruses. What is your comment on this?
thanks
Caro
Hi Caro. To clarify this, these viruses are spread by them being allowed to connect to the device over a certain protocol (SSH if you’re technical), which is opened using some jailbreak software.
Our unlock does NOT nor HAS EVER opened a port which would allow a virus to spread. Our software unlock leaves your device 100% secure. Don’t worry about these so-called viruses. Your phone remains as safe as the one leaves the factory from Apple, it simply has the unlock flag set.

hi,
i would like to ask few questions:
- just i got 3g from orange and i would like to know if your software can unlock this phone so my other half can use on her vodafone.
- seen to other unlocker they charge each month to access, is the payment on your software only once
- is this doesnt affect my warranty
Yes we can unlock this no problem for use on vodafone. We charge once for our software, and no it doesn’t affect your warranty at all.

Hi there,
Can you be more specific about your software and clarify? According to your specs it’s usable up to 3GS with 3.1(.2) firmware/bb 05.11.07 but what bootloader versions are unlockable?
All bootloader versions – its not bootloader dependable.

anyone know of any fixes or bugs that 3.1.2 addresses ? is it worth upgrading from 3.1 ?
Some people were experiencing battery life problems at 3.1 (I certainly was) 3.1.2 fixed that for me.

You all are doing an outstanding job! After spending the last few nights debating on upgrading my firmware I finally pulled the trigger and did it. Ten minutes later my phone was updated and running great. Much like alot of you, I was concerned about messing the process up, hitting the wrong buttons, it not working correctly after the update etc etc. BUT… man was it simple. I really dont think I could have messed it up if I tried. I had a couple of questions in the beginning and they were answered almost instantly. Nice job to you and your team.

Hi Again Jody
My wife has a 2g which was from an old contract so can have the updates without the fear of being locked, i have updated this to 3.1.2 and have no problems with the carrier logo being missing??
I have the 3g with the same missing logo problems, so i download “Fake Carrier” from Cydia, open the application and you can add your carrier back, so its no longer missing, just thought i would share this with people with the same issue
Cheers
Andy
Thanks for the tip Andy! Good to see customers helping each other.
However is this “fake carrier” simply a placeholder for whatever you want to put in there, so for example if you roam, would it still display whatever you selected in fake carrier? So not really a true representation of what network you are on…

Is any one else experiencing problems getting tethering and mms working, I have a 3gs on o2 with the new 3.1.2.
I emailed tech support yesterdaybut have not heardback yet and have been waiting on the phone fir over 20 mins this morning.
I am not knocking the service because I realise with new software etc things will be very busy and usually the service is first class but any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Rowland
Rowland – MMS and Tethering on your 3GS, just contact Apple and o2 about this as you are on an official contract.

Hi,
I successfully upgraded my unlocked iPhone 3G last night to 3.1.2: thank you for providing this service, especially when there are so many “fake” providers out there who charge you without delivering (I came across one myself unfortunately, before hearing about your solution). Just a minor comment: I realise that not being able to see the network name next to the signal bars is a minor bug and does not prevent me from using the phone as normal, but it is a bit annoying not knowing which network I’m using, especially given that I live close to the border and sometimes I get signal from networks from the other side. I just wanted to know whether there’s any way at all to fix this or if we’ll have to wait until the next upgrade.
Thanks,
Andrea
Thanks Andrea. It does bring shame on us, when everyone else is a charlatan, I don’t understand how they get away with it to be honest! Apple are aware of the issue and are working on it (as it affects legitimately unlocked phones also)

Hi Jody,
Just wanted to drop you a line to say a big thank you, as a natural sceptic about most things technical, especially when it comes to something as crucial to me as my iPhone I wanted to give other sceptics the reassurance that I have absolute and total faith in your software. I have unlocked and upgraded my iPhones a number of times and your solutions are so easy to use and follow, even for a technophobe like me. Not sure if this is usual or not but I even got email support answering my questions prior to upgrading at 22.45!! How many other sites can boast that! Don’t look elsewhere if you want to unlock your phone, these are the best!

Hi
I have an o2 sim which also does not have the o2 sign at the top, does this happen on all phones running 3.12 or just jail broken ones ?
Hope you can help
regards
Rowland
It’s all phones – don’t worry about it, its only cosmetic.

Hi I have upgraded my software to 3.12 all went perfect, I synced my phone before hand so assumed all would be ok as I have used your software for sometime.
However as we are told to restore the phone as a new phone, can I get back any information I had store. In an app like notes and some passwords, the app is now empty also what about photos which HD been taken on the phone.
Hope you can help
regards
Rowland
Hi Rowland. We only recommend Setting up as new iPhone to prevent problems – and anyway if you had synced before surely all your information (photos etc) is on your computer so just sync it back. There is a backup obviously within iTunes, but restoring from backup on jailbroken phones CAN produce problems (certainly not always) which is why we recommend setting up as new. Feel free to repeat procedure and try to restore from backup.

Hi Jody,
I have been using your software for sometime, i thought it was about time to upgrade to 3.1.2, my iPhone was already jailbroken and unlocked.
I followed the instructions and managed to load 3.1.2, when the iphone was re-booted, it was not unlocked, so i followed the instructions again on how to unlock, this was successful, i have signal and am able to make and receive calls, but i no longer have Voda next to the signal bars??
Any ideas. please?
Regards
Andy
Actually Andy, believe it or not this is an Apple bug! Don’t worry about it. The iPhone still works perfectly, n’est pas?

OK, you guys have obviously been working on this after the above comment and possibly others not published here. Just downloaded the firmware again and noticed it is 3.1.2 now instead of 3.1. So it works now.
Thanks again for providing yet another easy firmware upgrade.

hi there,
i accidentally updated my unlocked/jailbroken 2g iphone to the new itunes settings, as a result it is now locked on the itunes and usb cable screen and i can’t seem to be able to unlock it again. i’ve followed all the instructions on using other software but for some reason it isn’t working. i get all the way to entering dfu mode and then i get an error message in itunes. i’ve been trying to figure this out all day (literally!) so if anyone can help i would SUPER grateful!
Hi Oli, why are you you using that software? Just purchase ours which actually WORKS and you also get telephone and email support if you have any issues.
