I am currently on version 1.1.4, but i am wanting to upgrade to version 2.0, mainly so i can get the ‘Manage Source’ feature to Cydia, my phone is currently unlocked to all networks and i am worried that if i try and update it, it will relock itself, will that happen if i try and update it? Thanks.

Hi, I brought my iphone in the US where I was using it with an aftermarket sim for a few months without any trouble and then stuck in my old O2 sim when I got back to the UK last week.
I was trying to install a few tweaks to improve it and managed to accidentally install 1.1.4 when not paying attention (I guess this is similiar to the problem reported above). What’s the best solution to get back to an unlocked phone before I head overseas again?

when do you estimate having a unlock for 1.1.4 ready? I have a new phone (with 1.1.4) and wish to activate it.
Thanks

Hi Mufazzal
If you’re already a customer then the 1.1.4 update will be in the unlocking area tomorrow. If not then just purchase our 1 click software!
It’ll also mean you don’t have to use the PowerSim

26-02-2008 at 9pm Download took forever… Apples servers must be struggling to cope with demand, 1st attempt failed with an unknown error 2001… re-booted Mac and tried again this time it worked but had to restore all my data, music and contacts as a restore was only way to get it up and running again. No obvious additional features but generally feels more responsive and apps, open quicker, everything seems snappier so hope it does not lock up as much as 1.1.3 did. Looking good.
